Why Paint Prep Is Everything — and What We Do Differently
A bad paint job doesn't start with bad paint. It starts with skipped prep. Peeling, bubbling, uneven sheen — these problems almost always trace back to a surface that wasn't ready to receive paint.
Proper prep means cleaning the surface, filling holes and cracks, sanding where needed, and applying the right primer for the substrate. Exterior work adds pressure washing and full caulking around windows, doors, and trim.
"We spend as much time on prep as we do on application. That's why our work holds up for years — not months."
Primer selection is critical. Interior walls, exterior siding, bare wood, and masonry all require different primers. Using the wrong one means the paint won't bond correctly — no matter how expensive the topcoat is.
We've been painting homes and commercial spaces across Greater Houston for over 15 years. The difference is in the prep — and you'll see it in how long the results last.
